讀書人讀書成癮，愛書成癖，日久天長，氣場往往與眾不同。文雅些說，是書生氣；
直白點講，是呆傻氣。稱泛“書生”，臧否未定；直呼“書呆子”，褒貶自明。
好在書呆子不以為忤，反倒樂用張岱語來解嘲：“人無癖不可與交，以其無深情也；
人無疵不可與交，以其無真氣也”。話雖這麼說，書呆子心裡也明白，那些與己有交情者，
大多仍屬同一類人，畢竟同聲方可相應，同氣才好相求。
讀書人與書，不說前世有因，只見今生有緣，被書啟蒙，由書陪伴，死讀書，讀死書，讀書死，
一輩子，不離書。死讀書，“死”是態度；讀死書，“死”是內容；讀書死，“死”是寫照。
